Review: Eamonn's of Brooklyn in Manhattan on May 31, 2012

Eamonn's of Brooklyn is a fun spot in the midst of TriBeCa on Murray Street, so right in the midst of all sorts of everything.  There's really no excuse to not at least stop by and say hello and have a beer!  Eamonn's has a very old school, comfortable pub atmosphere- not really douche-town at all. Much more of a regular, after-work feel.

Eamonn's has a bar/restaurant set up, with bar stools along the bar, but booths on the side for a more dining 'formal' experience. We set up in the back, where the pool table and darts are the main attractions.  There ended up being a very HEATED dart game going on, with extremely serious players.  I don't think you have to always be that serious in order to play, though! (at least i hope not!) It was nice to have the back space, but beware the "i'm too serious about this dart game" middle aged dude.
SERIOUS dart match.

The specials were good, especially because they were all night long!  $5 ufo hefeweizen, $4 yuengling draft, $3 miller light draft, $3 pbr, $5 wells, $6 wine...just make sure they have your drink on tap.  Although if they don't, I'm sure they'll make sure you get something on special.

The staff there are maybe the main reason to go.  The bar owner, Brenden, certainly made sure that we were taken care of.  You go to Eamonn's, you won't be ignored!

Post RACE happy hour drink!
This happy hour was especially important, since it marked the FIFTH year of happy hour!  There was a great crowd out on this Thursday night, including some regulars, and some new faces!  Overall, we had a GREAT time at this happy hour, which definitely turned into a very happy evening!

DUDE butts.
