Need a chill place to grab a drink or a bite in Tribeca? Check out South's on Church St (btwn White & Franklin). There's a small bar area up front, and restaurant-style tables in the back- everybody's happy.
Happy hour is decent- $2 off until 8:00pm, although draft choices are more typical than creative. The food is solid, with standard bar fare plus more dinner-type options. We had a grand 'ole time that evening, basically taking over the bar area.
