Destination Bar is certainly just that, a destination, and a good one at that. With great specials, delicious bar food, and JELLO SHOTS, I can't believe I haven't been here before!

The specials are 1/2 off the ENTIRE bar, including top shelf liquor and fancy draft beer, until 8:00pm. Beer choices aren't bad either, with more than just bed and bed light on tap (they do serve delirium). And after 8:00pm, they also do buckets of 5 beers for $15 (although the choices-bud, bud light, and michelobe ulta- aren't amazing, but they'll do).

Which brings me to the JELLO SHOTS. Several choices, including fuzzy navels, margaritas, pineapple, and cherry coke. I think there was another flavor too, that I didn't try. The best part about them is that they are served with a corresponding gummy treat, such as gummy worms (in the margarita), sour patch kids (in the fuzzy navel) and swedish fish (in the cherry coke).

Oh and a bar with good specials, and good affordable bar food? We sampled the garlic fries, the fried pickles, the grilled cheese, and the chips & guac. All were delightfully delicious.
The space at Destination is really nice- with large areas in the back that work well for groups. Or you can chill at the bar, which has lots of room as well. They were also really quick and receptive to make a reservation and save us some tables! The bartenders were equally awesome, and they treated us to a couple rounds of jello shots!

| Prizes!! |

This happy hour was particularly exciting because two people were recognized with Certificates of Awesome Attendance for Happy Hour in 2012.
 |
| Jorn went to 11 happy hours in 2012!! |
 |
| Laura went to 10 happy hours in 2012!! |
We had a great crowd of 25-30 on the 26th, and I announced a new goal for happy hour participants to achieve- there will be recognition given for the person who gets the most friends to join the email list or Facebook group! So stay tuned for details about the location of the next happy hour, which will be on Wednesday, February 29 (because it can only happen once every four years!).
