Review: 3 Sheets Saloon on Dec 29

If you're looking for a cheap beer in a very convenient location, and possibly a chance to watch a game (or 3), 3 Sheets is the place for you (and your friends).  The bar is steps from the West 4th train station, so on those rainy or cold nights, you don't have to worry about a long, tedious, drunken walk to the train.  And happy hour is DAILY, 1/2 price off almost everything until 8pm!

In terms of setup, there's a long bar on the left side, with tables (and table service) in the front of the bar.  The walls are peppered with signs boasting their nightly specials, and ways to further your revelry.

There is space upstairs, and you can reserve it for your private party.  There are two beer pong tables in the back (and if you're nice, and no one is playing, the manager may take one table down so you can take over the space).

The scene is pretty bro-tastic, not surprising given the beer pong set-up (just sayin, it might be your thing!), and everyone was well behaved (or kept their crazy to themselves!).

There is a pretty good selection of bar food- we destroyed some nachos and tater tots.

We had an awesome crowd of 20-30 people enjoying the chill season between Christmas and New Years.

Everyone should stay tuned for happy hour on Thursday, January 26th...it will be a SPECIAL edition of happy hour!!!!

Friends!
