Triona's is a blast. Situated in the heart of the village, it's a fun dive-y sports bar with lots of entertainment to offer. On a random Thursday night in the middle of July, it was a great spot to gather, drink (and sweat).
Their happy hour specials fall in the category of "YES YES YES", at 1/2 off everything. I like it when it's a general discount, and you can order what you want for cheap.

The bar itself is spacious, with a long bar on one side, a room in the back, and a room to the side with darts and a pool table. That's where we camped out for pretty much the whole night.

We definitely took advantage of the entertainment offered, with a lively round of darts, and a very cut-throat game of pool towards the end of the night.

The staff were very nice, and at some point I was served by Triona herself!

As promised, I offered a prize (a round of shots) to the person with the most friends who had never been to happy hour before. Guess who won? Our famed winner of the Perfect Attendance Award of 2010. However, much to my surprise, Sami's two friends RELINQUISHED their prize! I was happy to offer the rejected shots to Nina and Alex.

| EEEEK. |
All in all, the night was great fun, and a good low-key casual bar in the middle of what must be NYU madness during the school year, or maybe even weekend nights. For happy hour- perfect.
