Review: Reunion on February 24

Reunion Bar was a lot of fun.  As you can tell, the bar has super surfer decor, and they've really taken the theme and run with it.  First, you have to keep your eyes open for the signs to the bar outside, and then follow the signs downstairs (the door is on your left!).  The bar downstairs is nice and spacious, with several little niches that are great for groups.  When we first arrived, it was pretty empty but before you knew it, it was packed!

The happy hour specials were pretty good.  Specials lasting til 8:00pm include $3 shot of the day, $4 domestics, $5 imports, $5 cocktail of the day, $6 frozen drink of the day (ie. frozen mojito) plus $5 sliders, tacos, etc.  The cocktails were pretty good, although a tad sweet for my tastes.

Also, our two prize winners, Meredith & Wilson were the first to receive the brand new Happy hour buttons!  You can get one too- just look out for notices when I'll be giving away prizes! (Or, I'll give you one if you buy me a drink!)

Reunion also has food- their squash tacos and fish tacos were DELICIOUS.  I think everyone liked the food, in general.

Also, Big Wave Dave watches over the bar, and greets pretty girls as they come in.  And sometimes, he gets a kiss in return!

We enjoyed a long night of drinks- some of the wall decorations even ended up as shawls.

Reunion was a lot of fun, and a great place to know about in the Hell's Kitchen/Midtown area.  It's hard to find a good bar in that neighborhood besides Rudy's, and Reunion is a great option.  I would totally go back.
